LMP500 Black Pad
Printing Ink for Plastic
Unlike traditional pad
printing, TherMark pad
printing ink is not
normally applied in the
exact mark pattern you
wish to apply. Rather,
it is applied so as to
cover the specific area
your mark will occupy.
You laser will
selectively bond the ink
where the beam hits, and
then the excess is
washed off, like other
TherMark laser marking
materials. This method
enables variable data to
be marked while using a
single stencil to apply
the material.
If you have a medium to
high volume marking
application for plastic
and would like to
discuss pad printing,
please
contact us
to discuss how we can
help you integrate a
TherMark solution. If
your plastic is not one
we have previously
tested, we will be happy
to do some testing on
your samples in our
applications lab.
We are further willing
to work with you to
develop a custom
tailored product for
your application, if
necessary. |

Designed
for medium to high
volume plastic marking
applications, LMP500 is
a specially formulated
laser marking ink
appropriate for pad
printing. The advantages
of applying TherMark
laser marking ink via
pad printing are speed
of application,
application consistency,
and reduced waste.
LMP500
was specifically
designed for making
black permanent marks on
nylon, and may be the
only known method of
making permanent black
marks on raw nylon.
While LMP500 has not yet
been tested on an
exhaustive list of
plastics, it will work
on many other
thermo-plastics.
